~ Remembered On Waking ~
As long as I can remember myself breathing, there was heart, always involved and actively participating in everyday life matters. At times relating its actions and impulses towards the ordinary tasks to carry on taking care of, but occasionally it does absorb its powers in order to produce an outburst that has no control, no any known to the science – system of operatives; nor it can be sized or measured. The heart sees from its inner and projects onto realities of ours, naturally and non-calculatingly.
This “Body” of work can also be understood as a poetic project: the creation of an intellectual subject matter that must be introduced within this image-repertoire; whereas the texture of desire, the claims of the body are amongst chosen few vital visual gestures. A private translation of femininity in a series of 12 photographs, that is to be read and felt; once seen then remembered on waking. There are no gaps in imagination to be minded, but wondering texts to be written instead; as it is a pure testimony of one’s heart poetically proclaiming its sensitive realism and lyrical resistance towards the non-indifference, forgetfulness, loneliness and fundamental complexities of our existence.
It has become my truly beloved privilege of joy to search and to find the character of the individuality, its scent and essence; discover its moods’ variety and blend it all together, whilst photographing a particular “beauty of hers”, something and some body I fell and felt for. A unique point of brilliance that “She” can only enchant within her appearances, inner feelings, states of mind; a route with no definitive direction to follow but an infinitive meaning to witness, the one, that a gentle camera man having the eye fulfilled with appreciation, – ought to be able to expose gently, present vividly, glorify timelessly.
The sensuality’s voice became all encompassing, reaching well beyond the printed testament, thus introducing the photographic message that is continuous and exclusively human. Presenting my long standing love for analogical forms of thought and art; stating my long lasting vital relation to naturalistic and originality’s favoured principals of photography. Whereas the day light makes the composition as evident as pure for the witness; the film takes an appearance of hers upon its shoulders of craft to immortalise. To revive lovingly for the sake of a first ever mutual introduction between the signifier and the signified, the photographic relationship that illustrates craft without codes and manipulation.
